Leon Rosenthal, Outsider Artist

OUTSIDER ARTIST / LEON ROSENTHAL

Leon Rosenthal, 1914-2005, was in private practice as a Registered Architect on Long Island. His vivid, assured watercolors (24"x 36") depict scenes of outdoor Americana, including rustic barns, covered bridges, seasides and industrial sites, which he painted on his car-trip vacations in the Northeast, 1950-90, and in Hawaii, where he was stationed during World War II. All are signed. Also available: drawings, scratchboards, pen-and-inks. Contact eMediaLoft.org to see more examples.
